Since the first few pages of the book Anthem by Ayn Rand it reminds me a lot of the book we read in seventh grade The Giver by Lois Lowry. Both of the books have this idea of building a perfect community where everyone is the same. Both of the books also have this idea of a Communist government.. The main characters are both similar and different from another. For example, both are separated from their community. In the other hand, the character in the book Anthem is called ''evil'' by his community for being smarter and taller than other people. The Giver, was a book I had a lot of fun reading, so I hope it will be the same with Anthem.
