Week 6 Ch.11&12 Illustrator Artist

"I am done with the monster of "We," the word of serfdom, of plunder, of misery, falsehood and shame.  And now I see the face of god, and I raise this god over the earth, this god whom men have sought since men came into being, this god who will grant them joy and peace and pride.
This god, this one word: "I." "

I think his photo image really describes how this book is because these three words are the most important words in this book because if we go back through this whole book not only was the society a place where everybody was the same.  Like in the book "The Giver"  where everything is we and everybody has the same.  It is very similar to this book because not only until the last to chapters was the "Golden One" talking about the importance of having these one or two specific words.  Which are I and Me.  Also this book is trying to tell us that the word I and me are bigger than they appear to us in everyday life and how important they are,  because if whenever had those two words than everybody would be the same.  So you would get the same house as I do, and you would have the same phone that I have, and you have the same of everything I have.  So the author is trying to say what is the point in life is there is no differences in us.  To just think about saying the word same and we and us everyday and there was no such thing as I or me.  Which this is why the Author wrote this book and this is why I chose to do my drawing this way.

  1. Adam I really liked your post, I liked how you compared Anthem with the giver and I like your Image. I think It's really strong when you compare a book to another because they may be connect in various ways and you explained that well. Your Image is very creative and it pretty much summarizes everything. In the Image you put all the main components such as "I" "ego" "Me" "anthem". One small thing that I would work on your post would be to write shorter sentences. On your first few sentences all where run-ons I think you need to work on that.
In the overall your post was really good so keep up the good work.
