Job # 5 – Illustrious Artist – Jonathan Gringauz Part 7-8 Anthem
For my job as illustrious artist I made an image on the image editing system. In this image I really focused on this particular paragraph. "“We are old now, yet we were young this morning, when we carried our glass box through the streets of the City to the Home of the Scholars. No men stopped us, for there were none about from the Palace of Corrective Detention, and the others knew nothing. No men stopped us at the gate. We walked through empty passages and into the great hall where the World Council of Scholars sat in solemn meeting.” I tried to incorporate some of the characters such as the guard. Not to mention that I also tried to include some of the objects, such as his new invention. Something that I want to point out, is that even though the book does not mention any specifics about the guard, but I interpreted it as somebody with a spear of some sort.
I appreciate your image but I think there are a few thing we have to clarify. In the paragraph you focused on their is no mention of a guard, however there is mention of the lack of guards and how he had no trouble walking about the streets. We also need clarify that our main character does not live in a forest because in the paragraph you focused on it reads, "when we carried our glass box through the streets of the City to the Home of the Scholars." As you can clearly see he carried his box through streets of the city not a forest as depicted in your image. I also would like to point out the that his creation is a box and you were correct in that area.
ReplyDeleteJonathan,
ReplyDeleteYou created a great image, but there are a few things you need to add. You need to add a lot more information, because most of your post is just the quote instead of your thoughts and the books thoughts about how this image is related to the saying. You mainly talk about the object.
Also, you need to talk more about the lack of guards and how they had no trouble crossing the streets. This is because you only mention one or two times, and that is not enough for one topic.
