I choose this image because in the book we read from chapters 1-3 it speaks a lot about the mating palace. The mating palace is a place where in the destopian society of anthem where people how are over 18 go to have sex with other people. It happens once a year then the baby is given to a couple to be raised.
Equality whats to go to the mating palace with another girl he likes but he cant because the girl isn't yet 18 but has 17 years old. The girl he likes is called the golden one they would always share eye contact but never quite spoke to each other until one day equality went up and talked with her.
