Alisa Zinov’yevana Rosenbaum also known as Ayn
Rand, was born on February 2, 1905 in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire. She died
on March 6, 1982 at the age of 77 in New York, USA from cardiovascular disease.
Ayn grew up in Russia but moved to the United
States in 1926. She was the Eldest of three daughters.
In 1929 she married Frank O'Connor then in
1979 became a widow. Ayn didn't have any children She was an Russian- American novelist , a philosopher, a
play write ad even a screenwriter.
She
was a well known writer and wrote many books but is known for two major books
that she wrote,
The Fountainhead and
Atlas Shrugged.
