The first reason I could tell you put a lot of effort into your post is that you asked us questions such as her you asked us “Or do they really believe that feeling inadequate is the best thing for these people?” The second reason I could tell you put a lot of effort into this post is that I could really tell your question were very detailed such as this one “Why did the council find it necessary to make the rule that if the other scholars say so a man must abandon his work?” The last and final reason I could tell you put a lot of effort into this post was you really
While I could tell you put a lot of effort into your post I have just a little bit of advice for some of your post. Which was that I think you could have more sentence fluency. Such as in one part I think you were typing to fast and scrambbled up some words when you said “hem int the dark” which I didn’t get. Altho I saw this in your writing I really connect because sentence fluency I get a lot of that same advice about which I am trying to work on right know. Because my sentence fluency is not at it’s greatest point right now. However I am working on it.

Great post Katie,

AdamAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315073044789716648.post-2930624841490175812014-09-15T06:45:03.280-07:002014-09-15T06:45:03.280-07:00Katie,
Your post was really good! Nice questions ...Katie,

Your post was really good! Nice questions and precise answers to them. I picked the question: Why do you think that the council outlawed mirrors? In this question, I had to agree with you Katie. I think the council wants this equality thing between them. A mirror is a way to differentiate each other. So as a result, they didn't add them to the society. Since they don't have mirrors, how do they know how they look?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315073044789716648.post-45034538140869415572014-09-15T06:38:14.332-07:002014-09-15T06:38:14.332-07:00I would love to answer question #2. People in this society all work together are all equal, so if someone disagrees then that person shouldn't continue. You are bringing the society at risk. I don't want to repeat what Cian said, however the book did mention how it took 50 years to convince everyone to change torches to candles. In there community they know, well partially know what happened in the past with technology and they wanna remain their community safe. I know we have a different perspective since we live with technology, but we have to understand their point of view to. How they are scared, so they don't want to move fast with the advancement of technology.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-315073044789716648.post-11230490239314558432014-09-15T06:18:39.595-07:002014-09-15T06:18:39.595-07:00Why did the council find it necessary to make the ...Why did the council find it necessary to make the rule that if the other scholars say so a man must abandon his work?

I disagree with your answer to the question above becuase simply making one abandon his work when the group tells him to does not prevent an up rising. If it does, I invite you to explain it to me. My answer would be that the council wants to ensure that technology does not advance too fast and cause problems as they did in the unmentionable times. By forcing the group to decide it slows down their ability to advance becuase if someone comes up with a brilliant idea and the group disagrees they do not advance. I know this becuase the book talked about the candle and how it took 50 years to convince every one to change from torches. As you can see this process slows down technical advancements and ensures the council that they will not have the problems the unmentionable times had.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
